What is the LDT?

ldt_logo_notextLauderdale Development Trust is a non-profit company, and registered charity, working for the benefit of the Lauderdale community. LDT is a member of the Development Trust Association of Scotland.

The aim of LDT is to generate revenue through grants and commercial projects, and to use these revenues to fund community projects and develop community assets.

LDT works closely with community councils in Lauderdale, but unlike a community council, LDT can run commercial projects and can access grants not available to community councils. The work of the LDT starts where the scope of community councils ends.

Any Lauderdale resident of majority age may join the LDT and be elected to the board. Contact us for more information.
